I was raised in a family which believes in food as medicine and the natural healing abilities that our bodies have built within. My parents showed me food that brings me energy benefits; benefits of eating seasonal food; and nutrition that each food contains naturally. Japanese cuisine is all about seasonal and ”balance”. Try to use ingredients with various colours that are available in season. Your food becomes a well-balanced food. Lately, I practice macrobiotic diet that is based on classic Japanese cuisine.
